Our first show Love Letters by A. R. Gurney is currently enjoying a revival on Broadway with a revolving all star cast: Candice Bergen, Alan Alda, Carol Burnett, Mia Farrow and Brian Dennehy. This romantic comedy is the story of two friends whose 50 year relationship couldn't be more unpredictable because they are complete opposites - she is a wild-child, Bohemian and he is a buttoned down, straight arrow. It is full of pathos, wry wit and humor. With only two characters on stage reading (writing) letters to one another...it is a very different format for the theater. Like the Broadway production, CPR will have a rotating cast beginning with Jim and Karen Halliday the first two weeks, followed by Gerry and Donna Birnbach the third weekend.
